Sadly enough the least ricey exhaust is the greddy for the 2002-2006 lancer. The magnaflow sounds great until you pair it with a header then it gets raspy at the top end and the other choice (ebay) is obviously not going to be fantastic. A lot of it is pipe size and muffler choice.

Well i DO AGREE WITH the red, but out of my experience Greddy has been pretty ricey. the magnaflow will cough becasue its meant to handle more (especially with headers). But Greddy is very ricey especailyl with pipes and headers and diameter and material of exhast. HKS has also been pretty loud and ricey, along with ingen, stillen, not to mention 5zeigen (but somehow i come to love the zeigen ricness, it has a european tone to it ) Really if you look into those japanese import tuners they will give you the riceyness, becasue they apeal to such drivers (thier audience, if you will). pay attention to the thickness of the exhaust (thicker = deeper, kinda). Its all really some detailed physics contraption then theres double pipes (different from resonated exhasuts). More air in (intake)= more air out (exhaust) = faster way out (header, cat/pipe) = more vibration = higher note. At the point of more vibration the thickness of the exhaut and diameter matters..... thats pretty much me at all out w/ an empty stomach so im gonna eat!!! woops that was

Wow, that's a clean lookin' install. Probably saves you a few pounds over the giant stock muffler too, no doubt... any chance you could toss a pic of the old one up so we can see how big that puppy really is?
