exhaust questions

• How much hp would a High-Flow cat add if any at all?
• My friend had an integra with an Apexi N1and it sounded good. It wasnt to rice and didnt sound like a pissed off bee going down the road, very deep and throaty. How do you think an N1 muffler would sound on our cars?

...boredom..........

i am about to replace my exhaust with 2 1/2 SS piping, magnaflow hi-flow cat, and a magnaflow 2 chamber muffler or a borla type muffler into a 3 or 4 in SS tip. i have a technician at work to do all the welding( since i am a bit rusty no pun intended lol), i also got a quote for the same thing to be done by a performance shop in my area to do it with the same parts and including labor for $230. i just hope the cars computer agrees with the install.

yeah? damn, no wonder RRM says axle back is bascially all you will need. 2.5" is perfect and i think it's illegal in some states to tinker/change the cat so looks like cat back exhausts simply aren't needed. what we need now are headers

Pretty sure that'd be ALL the states. It's a Federal law if I'm not mistaken.

yes because the emissions are still under control with the hi flow cat. there are ones i have seen that are for offroad use only. but the one like magnaflo carries is approved for replacement.

i myself have questions bout the exhuast, my friend does alot of welding for his own car, instead of going out n spending a wad of money, n my sisters boyfriend is givin me his old (not old but doesnt use them so im gettin them) Greddy Ti-C exhuast, so i was wondering if my friend welded me the pipes n the exhaust together, would b any defects to the car itself? or would it not b compatable?

It would work fine. You'd be making it from scratch, so of course it would be compatible.
