I would imagine that information would be tied to your VIN number. Maybe the department of motor vehicles would have it?

You're not in California, so it'll be Federal. If you didn't keep your window sticker, and want to know for sure, the dealer should be able to tell you based on your VIN.

Certain states other than California are required to have the California Emissions Standard. New York is one of them.

Ask your dealer. You bought your car in New England, it means it is Cal not Fed. New England, New York, NJ, PA and Cal
