Lancer Throttle Body

Rob how big is the stock 4G94 throttle body? I hear all about boring it out but I've yet to hear its stock specs. Thanks

I apologize Cliff. I read this post a while back had dial calipers in my hand. Phone rang..... sent throttle body to grow up.... Only have big one now.... sold it... waiting for core to come back... I promise to measure it. Pathetic huh?

Throttle Body

The stock throttle body on the 1.8 Mirage 4G93 engine is 50mm.
I beleive the throttle body size on the 2.0 Lancer 4g94 engine is going to be somewhere between 50mm and 55mm working on my experience with Mitsubishi.

This means the stock throttle body can usually be machined somewhere between 55 and 60mm.

RPW is now looking at supplying a bolt on brand new 65mm throttle body and a machined out 70mm throttle body for the 2.0 Lancer.

Anyone interested contact APParts who is our USA distributor who specialiases in Mirage / Lancer components.
