anybody know the 4b11's rod length?

any guys that work at a dealer or something know the rod length of the 4b11??? how about the deck height? i'm trying to figure out the rod ratio. i definitely think there are way more revs to be had from this engine. firstly the engine is square 86 x 86. if they wanted a more torquey kinda engine i think they'd stick with a slightly undersquare design like the 4g63. being that the 4g63 had a great rod ratio of 1.7:1, i dont think mitsu would turn a blind eye to this facet of engine geometry. i suspect or hope that the 4b11 has a similarly great rod ratio.

another indication, that doesn't seem to be talked about, is the direct actuation cam on bucket design of the valvetrain. this offers lighter weight and thus more rev capability.

these things don't mean much for a GTS with stock compression and rev limit. but i think people are quick to condemn this new engine. once serious internal mods begin to happen, i bet people will see that this new engine was made to rev.
