Why are you guys keep saying the 50 shot will kill 4g94. If you will not tune it, than duh.

People that kill their 4g94 with nitrous, never mentioned if their car was tuned or not; wet or dry?

Per 50 shot you suppost to retard timing 1-2 degrees and use highest octane possible (like 93).

We keep saying it because it happens and no, no one ever bothers to mention what manner of tuning they've done. As I recall both wet and dry do fry the engines. I think one guy got through one bottle and melted his guts early on in the second bottle doing 50 shots.

And then there are those of us who don't count nitrous as part of an NA build.

As for research, you can get 11.5:1 forged pistons from accolade for $792.10
with NOS I would go with ZEX you can get wet for 529.95, race for 702.61, and direct port for 754.32.
With that much power I would also go with Unorthodox Racing Feramic puck clutch (515.57 for sprung hub and 429.47 for solid hub) and its aluminum flywheel (491.91).
If you did want to go with a duel throttle body set up RPW.com.au makes one but as far as I know no one is importing it.
When you've been here longer and have more than 30 posts, than you can start calling us "nay sayers". At the moment you're just like all the other newbs that try to throw their weight around without knowing what the hell they're talking about.

You can only melt stuff when you have a lock of fuel supply, so that tells me using dry shot. I would only go with wet, much safer.

You can blow a rod but only if the shot would be big.

Tuning is the key.

Back to topic, this wasnt a thread about nitrous, it was about my plans. I've found afew 4g94 motors local with under 30k miles on them, Im goin to check some out this afternoon. My plan is to just get the motor first, break it down and put in stronger rods and pistons still undesided on compression cause Im still debating turbo or n2o, but just getting the motor to work on is step one.
