hmm...wonder if they are claiming this is peak HP increase or 10-12hp increase recorded somewhere else in the powerband...ie....3K rpm or something like that

my 4gen eclipse actually got 15whp from injens cold air that uses the same black rubber. And never popped 1 code, i tried aem and gave me a code, my dude tried fujita and it snapped! So Injen will have my money hands down

If money isn't an issue, wouldn't it be smarter to get a short ram intake with the evo style hood like RRM's? Or not?

Have you ever known anyone for whom money was "not an issue?"

One of my clients...his "beater" is a Corvette Z06...he parks it between his Ferrari Spider and Aston Martin Vantage...I want to have that problem one day.

OK let me re-phrase this. I have a SRI right now, and am planning on getting a CF hood in the near future. My point is, why spend the money for the Injen CAI, when a SRI would be just fine in combo with the hood. And yes, I do know some people that are well off.

performance will still be better with a proper CAI configuration, even with air flow in.

CAI beats SRI due to ram effect

It depends on your hood. Is it ducted to bring air directly to the SRI?

The sound of the cai was expected. It had a subtle but mean sound to compared to the sri but the injen exhaust was louder to hear the cai. The spark cover was made by injen. The sales rep at Injen said all the production pieces have been created and its "expected" date will be by December.

I still won't believe claims form any manufacture. I will not believe that this horrible desined intake gives a 10-12 whp increase until an independant member not associated with Injen dynos it and post the sheets.
