Beleive me, I am not saying INJEN is completely stupid, I think they took the time to dyno both confirgurations, i think they opted to keep the design simple.

The pipe has a proper bend, everyone is making it sound like they built a 180'c pipe out of plumbing left overs.

Trust me there isnt going to be that much a performance hit vs. a straight over CAI pipe. maybe 10% between the two. Its the pipe length that gives it ram effect. i think there thoery that if they make the bend gradual enough and long enough it would balance out. and ithink it has.

Wait fo the dynos, you will see that it will still be higher then SRI in the MID and especially in the high end

me too, 10-12whp seems high for any CAI. Maybe 10-12 crank hp, I would believe that without seeing a dyno. Or maybe 10-12whp if the car already has exhaust, header, ecu...

Don't hold your breath. I can't even remember the last time anyone on EvoM did a baseline and then put one mod on the car and then dynoed. It's a lot of money for a number.

If its a dyno from Injen, I won't believe it. Injen is in the market of making money. Their dynos can be easily biased to help sell more. Every manufacture is guilty of this. Just like that Turbonator intake insert. They had dyno sheets that showed +10 whp too.

it really depends on what the restriction is. the intake system or the flow in the head. if you have a great flowing head but a restrictive intake, you bet 10-12 WHP is possible. look at the RSX Type S. if you have a crappy flowing head and a crappy intake, doesn't matter what you slap on it, the head is the limiting factor.

what we really need to see is benchflow results of the 4B11 head or at least pics of the head. it's been out this long and nobody with the means has bothered to do either...
