if you get pulled over and you get inspected, they will drop a huge ticket on you man, pray they dont call in the EPA lol, if you had dropped the cat. its game over. 2500 ticket in some states I think.

Straight pipe is a violation i wasnt aware of until lately

I think there is some confusion on this. as I understand he has a megan racing hi flow cat and was just refering to the bends in the pipe and saying it was a straight exhaust. there is no law on the shape of the pipes just on having a cat. I have gotten pulled over a few times and got a ticket for my exhaust on my eclipse and it had no cat but the cop didn't notice so I lucked out.
I still don't understand how injen says you gain 10hp on their exhaust when RRM tried out higher flowing stuff and I think it lost power.

They could be lying. They could have "tweaked" the dyno settings between the baseline and modified run. There's a lot of possibilities. If you honestly believe a dyno sheet from the manufacturer, you're probably being suckered. Honestly, dyno results are a horrible thing to base a purchase on. They're so easily misread and misused.
