I have a quick question about the Greddy exhaust. For the people that have it, is the exhaust a cop magnet? I live near the police station and I don't want to be constantly pulled over for excessive noise. I seen the online videos and it does not seem too loud, but the input from those that have it would be greatly appreciated.

 

i ordered mine last week and the site updated saying on backorder for 3 more weeks... jeez. I am waiting on it and the short shifter.

 

I've driven by a few cops and they don't seem to bat an eye. It's not as loud as I've had some of my cars. The 1984 BMW 633Ci had a 3" straight pipe from the cat back. My neighbor was a cop and he would pull me over about once a week to hassle me about getting a muffler. Never gave me a ticket though.

If you're nice with your driving around cops then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Unless they want to be ***holes.

 

So are these in stock thru any local Vendor? I read a site saying they were sold out 'til March.

To the guys that have the GReddy Ti-C, what's the size of the piping and tip? Is it angled out? I'm going JDM with my lancer.

Not true. Mine only took a week to come in. Just got it.

 

it just depends on when u ordered it.. if u order now the wait will be less.. stop complaining and if u want it just order it already..

I had a similar exhaust on my old eclipse and i can definitely say that you will get more attention from the police with one then without, even though one time it kinda saved me. I got pulled over 2 times with it and one time i got a warning for the exhaust and the other time i was speeding 75 in a 55 but there were plenty of other cars going the same speed and of course he picked me because of the exhaust. anyway he ended up dropping the speeding ticket and giving me a ticket for the exhaust instead. i can totally say that ever since i got the lancer i have had much less attention from the cops and not a single ticket.
