I always recommend custom. You get about the same results as a name-brand, but you pay less than half.

If you do it, just tell the guy to make you an exhaust. If they're a capable exhaust shop, they're going to know what to do. You can get an axleback or the whole catback. Up to you. I'd encourage you to make sure they use mandrel-bent piping. And tell them to make sure the piping keeps some of the stock restriction (having the S-bend that most axlebacks use is a good idea) because it'll keep some backpressure so you don't lose too much lowend power. Also, get a decent muffler - not just any old thing.

You'll get some gains (not a lot) and you'll get some sound. Don't expect the car to be WAY faster, though.

All cars do that. It's how exhausts work.

You'll never gain much from a muffler. That's also true with all cars. The only cars that gain significant HP from a muffler are ones that have a truly restrictive stock muffler. I've never seen the 2008 muffler cut open, so I don't know about ours.

As I've said for years: if you demand dyno sheets before you buy a product, your car will be stock for a LOOOOONG time. Either that, or you'll learn to believe some amazing fake dyno sheets. Injen claims 20whp from their CAI and exhaust. You really believe that?

yeah, lol they due, did a science experiment on a mild exhaust pipe on a old winter beater 92 Accord. lol friggin thing didnt rush after 2 winters salt and all.

minimal. I even cut the pipe, scraped the pipe, cut it in half and welded it back together. minimal rush near the weld points. did the same thing to a another car, same time period. pure rush. mine you it was a mild steel header. lol how smart is that lol making a header of mild steel? bolts rusted with it

That said, you should have any problems for the 5 or 7 years you own your car. if you see rush i would be surprised.

On my black EVOSOUL we opted for the dealers undercoat. but i had to paint my exhaust with a brush on the weld points just to make sure.

I talked to the awd dyno shop guy today and told him about that whp gain from INJEN, he said nothing, just gave me a look, like i was smoking crack or something

So if anyone has those two injen products he will throw it up on his 450 Dynojet . he and I would both love to see it
