RPW and AP parts

From what i can tell there are a few parts from these website that will fit the lancer....or at least thats what they say will fit on mitubishi vehicles.... Fuel pressure regulator, modified fuel injectors, 4-1 extractors, heavy duty clutch, lightened flywheel, camshafts (three stages), and twin throttle bodies and a unichip computer....if all these parts fit, then we are in luck since this would provide significant power gains....email them to be sure but im posting if anyone is interested...i know some will be interested in the clutch and flywheel, i know i am.

RPW Components

That is correct RPW is now confirming the fitment of our components to the Mitsubishi Lancer model in the USA. We have all items from extractors etc includign twin and qaud throttle body systems and best of all 70mm single oversize throttle bodies which would be perfect for the 2.0 lancer engine and can come with cruise control options etc.

I will be checking this section of the website in the future for questions etc. If you want a question answered leave a message for Mitsiman.

CLutch & Flywheel

TO answer your question I do not know at this moment whether the lancer clutch / flywheel is the same as the 1.8 mirage unit. This is easy enough to check but I would have to get APParts to find out for me. Even if they are different we can get them done but it is a case with most new model vehicles we need to collect a little bit more info first.

But we can manafacture a clutch no problems and with a carbon steel billet flywheel we do need an origonal unit to machine off and use the origonal ring gear.

anyone have a service manual for the Lancer? scan and post the section on the flywheel and clutch (not the whole thing just the specs and pictures). It stands to reason given that you use the same tranny that I have in my mirage, use basically the same engine...then chances are you have the same flywheel/clutch. Maybe talk to a mitsubishi parts dept and check parts numbers between the 4G94 and 4G93 clutch and flywheel.

The 1.8L flywheel in 93-2002 mirages all use a 215mm OD and 140mm ID friction surface. Can't remember input shaft spline size off hand (www.centerforce.com lists the input shaft spline size though) but the 1.5L, 1.8L and I think the 2.4L 4G64 all use the same input shaft spline size for the clutch disk.
