Any other choice for the exhaust?

Ok, i want Greddy Ti-C but they are in heavy demand and outofstock everywhere,

Tsudo N1), i thought about it before, price is low but it looks really ugly and sounds so weak

Manaflow) sorry i never have any good feeling on this brand, it is probably for american car, like mustang or those muscle cars

RRM) so many people using this, is this brand good? is it made in US?

Works AB exhuast+ high air flow filter) well ...this is the 2nd best choice, except for Greddy Ti-C in my opinion, but its looking has no difference with my stock GTS finished exhuast tips

i hate to hear my GTS's engine/ CVT noise, i must get a exhuast asap....plz leave some suggestions, thanks

injen has a full header-back coming out in a week... price is about 900 bucks though! Oh, and, yes the RRM is really popular.

RRm uses a magnaflow muffler just to let you knoe

RRM seems to have the best reviews so far. And yeah its made in the u.s. I'll probably get the RRM exhaust (Dual if they ever make it) to match my RRM turbo (Once it finally comes out)

I personally really like the tone of my GReddy Ti-C - especially with the RRM header, so I'd wait for the GReddy to become available.

If you want to hear the exhaust, get the Works. Otherwise, go for the RRM, since it has a muffler and is quieter (but still louder than stock). Up to you.

Works that performance package is 369, this price is okay, but after tax and shipping and custom fee, it almost 500 for me

500 for a filter+ a good sound pipe....er....i rather take that $ buy a PS3+ Gran Turismo 5 and buy a EVOX in that game to mod my car LOL

i hope the Injen full head-back really 900 only as that guy said, then i will get it without thinking anymore

REDGTS, if you live in Ontario let me know, there is a better way to get the WORKs exhaust... pm me

getting down to it, for people pondering what exhaust to get, the best thing to do is wait, sit on your hands. as more options get out there, it means prices will come down as competition heats up.

There is no gun to anyones head saying buy that exhaust now, buy it !!!!!!!!!! or else...

drive your car be happy with your purchase and chill, wait till you see more dynos, reviews, news of any problems. Dont rush MODS

you are right, evosoul~

the price of the mufflers are kinda rip off now, they give sound better only and it doesnt improve performance at all....spend 400+ for a muffler sound, rather install a better audio sound system in the car, really not worth it

IMO 150-250 for a muffler is acceptable (probably Universal mufflers)

btw i pmed u

Well I wouldnt go as far to say its a rip off, you have to understand that these companies are not huge Juggernauts as others on this forum sometimes make them sound. You have to understand the cost of putting something to gether, an exhaust an intake, you name it, its not cheap. There is the R&D process, trial by fire some call it... As a random example... companies like RRM for example, even thou they have worked with other previous generation lancers, they still have to retool, test, and retest to make sure its gonna work for a new line of products, then there are things like problems to address, returns, even product failures should they happen. Costs come down with experience, cost savings and also from external sources such as competition.

So when you look at it from the business side, charging 300, 350 or whatever price can be justified if you look at it from the top down. Its not easy, no matter how big you are. I am a one man show with my projects and I know how much things can cost, and you know you gotta hope and know that what your doing is the best job you can muster. Because as we all know, the market decides who comes and who goes, and more importantly who is here to stay.

So like I said before, give it time and let the market decide things

ok teacher, i understand what u talking about

6am in this morning, i was running maximum speed with my GTS on highway,
i found that it acclerates really slow from 140km-200km (CVT paddleshift) even my ex-car suzuki aerio faster than this ******* lancer sigh....

08 Lancer could be really fast in the corner, but straight road...um....
no wonder they need to put a 2.4L 168hp engine on 09 Lancers, they know the 4B11 without turbo is not enough to pushg a 1410KG/ 3000lb vehcile

too bad i didnt know there will have a ralliart 236hp lancer come out on may when i bought my GTS 1 month ago

im worrying, even the normal Civic SE/EX/LX or whatever would run faster than our lancers , and the CVT is so wierd the 6 step tiptronic CVT just really different with the standard automatic transmission ,
like in a sharp corner, people usually change to 2nd shift gear, but CVT no matter u use which gear to turn in the corner, they feel the same

the INJEN CAI and header-back exhaust combined are supposed to free up 20-25 hp.

first thing on your list should be an exhaust, there is more restriction on the rear end then there is infront of your engine.

i am sure the price will come down soon
