ok basically i can get a 600 dollar junkyard 4g64 from 03 galant i believe....ive searched forums for head needed but cant seem to find out exactly what head would i need for a 4g64 block ,accessories i need from engine, any ideas?

 

Is that even possible?

 

Read the sticky thread, click lancer engine tech, move to top of page and read "old News 4g64 Swap" blah blah blah, lol. I'm saying it nicely before everyone yells, but just read that, okay, and inside there on page 24 or 25, there is an evo owner who did the head swap, check out his forum, or ask him.

4g63 head.

 

yes the 4g63 head works on a 4g64 block, there is pics of a eclipse with the head swap I am goin to say its not easy as some people said there is some water holes that need to be welded? and I am not sure which ecu you would need but logically if you can swap the 4g64 in to a lancer than it is probable that you can swap the 4g63 on to the block, I say do it!
