Let me first start by saying that I have read the 4G64/4G63 timing threads and tutorials; however, there STILL was not a clear and definitive answer for the question of whether or not we are able to use OEM 4G64 cam gears (one gear per SOHC [stock 4G64] head, you'd have to source them from two separate heads) on a 4G63 head and 4G64 block.

What I have been reading is that the 4G64 cam gears have an extra tooth, though I haven't confirmed this myself. I beg of your help as I can't seem to get my timing right, but I'll admit it's my first timing belt job.

So in short, can we use two oem 4G64 cam gears on a 63/64 combo.
