Is the silencer installed on the pipe that bolts on to the other pipe, or does the silencer go into the muffler. Would I be able to see it by looking into the muffler?
Yes, it goes into the muffler. There should be three screws going into the base of the exhaust tip that are holding it in.

I'm sure many EvoM members have this... Anyone care to give a quick review?

Planning to get this if it's rated fairly good... Despite being a cat-back... its not much more expensive than the RRM axle-back exhaust (looking at speedcorps)
You obviously didnt search very hard. My car was the R&D design car for the exhaust. Got it 2 months before it was being sold and I wrote a few posts about it.

All I can say is that online sound clips/videos do not give it justice. I have yet to meet someone in So Cal who doesnt love the sound of it.

since there are three screws holding the silencer in, im assuming that it can be removed, right?

I love mine - it sounds and looks good. For the 2008's, the Ti-C is an axle-back only - and no silencer. It was also really easy to install; 2 bolts and relocate 2 hangers, and you're done

for the 08 lancer it IS an axle back. that's why it just says "rear section only"
