whats different other than then 60$? is the V2.0 just lighter? and I don't see that making much of a difference... can someone enlighten me please?

v2 is aluminum and has a heat shield on it to help separate the intake from the heat from the exhaust, because the air filter on both of the SRIs is almost directly above the exhaust manifold.........

and the v2 is a hell of a lot purdier....

RRM is saying the v2 SRI is developing more power than the original... like 2 to 3 more HP...

from the main RRM SRI thread (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...php?t=270244):

Of course this is exaggerated for your comprehension!

seems more like a cosmetic upgrade to me (comparing v1 to v2). The gains are small enough to be neglected. Unless you really care for 2-3 hp...

Why wouldn't you want the better version? It's not like V1 gave 20whp and V2 is giving 22whp... when you don't have a whole lot of HP to begin with, every extra pony you can get is worth getting...

the V2 goes from filter to throttle body. the V1 was a MAF pipe and filter. replacing the intake piping has got to be better than stock.

interesting, has anybody actually measured the stock intake piping? and the V2 piping?
