alright guys, my car wouldn't start yesterday morning and i know i should've change my batteries (last time i went into maintenance, they told me) so i did some search through the forum and found some info but i still couldn't decide what brand should i go with. Optima, Duralast or whatever the autozone people give you? does it make a big difference? just trying to find something to replace it fast. it's hard not being able to drive your own car... (btw stock lancer)

 

You can get a used battery for cheap from Autozone or Pepboys.

Now, if you want something that will last and give you better cranking amps go for an Optima Red Top.

 

+1 for Optima. Red Top is more car performance oriented & Yellow Top is more car audio oriented, but both supply plenty of power.

 

id go with a Kinetic specially if you have any high end audio in there. i just put one in mine and my full alpine system has never once been a problem with it and it draws almost 1500 amps.
