or use a grinder and grind down that metal peice that is in the way. I have seen several installs that do that and it makes it much easier. remember middle bolts torque at 12 foot pounds (cannot remember the end ones so I wont even guess)

the 14mm bolts on the ends get torqued to 24 ft #'s the grinder works but it takes forever shot socket swivel extention and that should do it unless you feel like geting under the car with a racheting wrench

For those of you saying a swivel will get you in that spot I wish to ask you if you actually have a header and did you put it on your self? Cuz if you did you would know that a swivel and a socket does not work on the lower left bolt. I know it looks and sounds like a good idea but it will not fit. End of story
Open end wrench, pole and hammer is good. I used a hydraulic jack in place of the hamer. Put the open end on the nut, line the pole up with the bottom of the open end, and either hit the pole with the hammer or start applying pressure with the jack till it breaks free. Good luck, its a real *****!

jesus ive takin the sutpid thing off 600+ times
take of the timing belt cover and you can bent that little peice of flat metal out of the way to get a wrench in there i could have these things installed in like 20 minuts

and you CAN use a swivle wrench depends on what kind of tools you have price = performance
k-mart tools most definetly wont help you do the job

This sounds like something pretty worthwhile to be made into a write up when finished and be able to help a few folks out at least. If any of you'd be interested in writing one or have done it already and can do a write, PM one of the mods and we'll see if we can't put it in the Install/How To section.

More than one way to skin a cat!
I like grinding the Power steering bracket a little and goe straight in at that bolt. Anyone who want to do a serious instruction manuel on this can. I will review it and see to it it get on ROAD/RACE Corner. Thanks to all that help our customers!

I used an open ended wrench and got it from under the maniflod. A gear wrench wouldn't work, or a swivel. Just take your time and flip the wrench after each 1/4 turn. My install only took about 1.5 hours. I did not hook up the lower bracket because it felt like it would put to much stress on the header and cause a crack in the future.
