exhaust gasket

does anyone know who sells a metal gasket that goes from 2.5in to 2.25in ?? pepboys and kragen are useless any thoughts thanks

Lancer tech and the remark isn't even close to OT. How can a gasket act as a reducer without being thick? Couldn't you just use a 2.5 inch gasket?

i tried that already with a paper one and there is still a bit of a leak i even tried the other with the smaller one but thats just as bad even worse. i was thinking like a doughnut type gasket perhaps would work

It's because he doesn't want a gasket, he wants a reducer.

if you need a gasket go to meinakee
just show them the exhaust and they'll give u a gasket that fits
this is what i did for my greddy exhaust

Exactly what I was thinking. If the two pipes can bolt together though, you would think a gasket fitting the larger hole would work to seal any leaks.

hmmm yea thats what i need but see they do bolt together so i was hoping to get a reducer with a gasket

If they bolt together, wouldn't a 2.5 gasket work fine since it'll seal the larger hole and the smaller hole?
