but, i kinda want to try something new, just that i've heard of people trying it, but they never finished it. can it be done on a students budget or close to the 4g64 swap price range.

how small a budget? Also how good are you or do you have friends with experience with engine work and swaps?

it can be done. Ralliart is similar to base lancers cause of transmission. I say go for it.

what do you mean it is similar to the base because of the transmission?

I say you go for it as well... Yea it'll be some work to do it but I'll guarantee you'll be proud of it...

1. In the future, use a more specific title for your thread, "dude!" does not cut it.
2. Please search, this has been covered and to the best of my knowledge, no one has done the swap thus no one knows what is needed.
3. if you are on a budget, modding is not for you, especially an engine swap that no one has completed yet.

Yeah i agree with amby lol. Read up on your history and find a mistubishi car manual for your car and ralliart. Take your time and figure things out. Nothing just yet can be answered with just a yes or a no. Some people saying yes can be wrong and some people saying no can also be wrong.

Oh no? Search some. It's not an OZ but it's a Lancer. Not sure how similar the mounts and stuff are, but here.

Different engine but it should still apply. Notice how he says
It does however take a lot of money and time
Those are two things a student does not have.
