anyone on the RPW stage 2 cam

Is anyone out there running RPW's Stage 2 cam on their N/A 4g94? Turbo too..

im considering getting them, and curious about the gains/results from them.

also, anyone know how they compare to RRM's stage 1 cam?

thanks

I have stage 2 turbo version.
Haven't installed it yet because I will be doing it all at once with my rebuild.

It's obviously a wilder cam than RRM because you need upgraded valve springs

well let me know how everything comes together. im interested.

did you get the venier cam gear with it too? i cant remember if RPW said they were required with the stage 2, or if it was just for better results.

Vernier camshaft gear is not necessary, but if you do use one then there are large gains to be had with them, especially as it will really allow you to tune the car better by moving your powerband around.

Im running the stage 2 with a custom 16g setup. Using 440cc injectors and the idle is kinda rough. Not shake your whole car around kind of rough but i gotta say it idles kinda like a harley. Have the findanza cam gear but i have it set to stock tdc still. The crank is retarded three degrees as factory instructions if i remember correctly so I guess you would be able to advance the cam gear a bit. Dont really see the need to though because you can mess with your timing using ecuflash....
