03 OZ Rally: Doing timing belt anything I should know?

Whats up guys, im doing a timing belt on a 2003 OZ Rally tommorow, im actually a Nissan tech so I dont know much about mitsubishis. Is there anything else I need to know before I get in there? Is there a balance shaft belt or is it just the timing belt?

I have the timing belt , the timing belt tensioner and new drive belts.

Thanks,
Aaron

That's it.

timing belt and tensioner.

Plus the water pump, if you want to go ahead and replace that.

I haven't seen any water pump failures, but then again i haven't been looking. You're gonna need an air ratchet for the crankshaft pulley bolt to get it on and off by the way.

Piggy back question:
Is it necessary to fully drain the coolant for the water pump removal? If not, how much should be expected to spill out?

i would suggest replacing the water pump while your at it cause the new, tighter belt will likely cause the old pump to fail prematurely. Or you could try your luck either way, not a big deal
