sorry if its in the wrong section, but it does directly relate to the engine. Mods, move if need be!

When i went to dyno my car a few weeks ago, there was an RSX with our group that went that had soem sort of engine dampener I think it was technically called. it was just a solid piece of metal and all it did was attach to i think the block somewhere and then a sturdy part of the frame of the car and virtually eliminated engine movement. I was wondering if there is anything like this for our cars and if so, where can they be found?

I've looked for an engine dampener too but it seems that nobody makes one for the 08 lancer. Here's what I was looking for (EvoM wrote a review about it):

Hopefully they will make one for the Evo X and we will be able to use it.

 

yeah something like that would be perfect! i wonder if i can get some of my friends in the machine shop at my school to make me something like that hahaha

but there is an Engine Dampener in development. its being done in Japan, I am hoping its universal mount points onthe 2.4 and the 2.0 But since they dont have the 2.4L lancer over there .. its hard to say
