i know this is old but i just installed the timing cintrol on my 2010 gts 5 speed and the check engine light came on the next day any one know why.

 

did you disconnect your battery for 20 mins, install the box, then reconnected your batt?

 

yes i did ima try it one more time i had a guy tell me it happen to his after 1 year and it reset itself so i hope thats not the case.

 

Reset it once you get the code and call us. I may want to give you a different map but we need to ask you some questions. Mostly nothing to worry about either way but 5% of the time it happens to guys. It can be due to other mods you have too and the TC may just have exposed the issue with the other mods. Either way call us and we will help you out. Tc is a very worthwhile mod and just like anything, we are pushing things to be optimized.

i reset it and it did it again, to be fair i did not buy this from rrm but i did call and their goin to reflash it for a small fee so thanks for that and i will defetnetly buy from you guys next item cause the first two i bought were awsome. Thanks for your help rrm rocks
