Im in the market for an exhaust, does anyone have a sound clip of the RRM magna flow exhaust? Or can anyone tell me how this sounds like? Im looking for a deep low growl type sounding exhaust. If anyone can help I appreciate it

 

ditto. i'm looking at magnaflow, greddy, rmr... any sound clips are greatly appreciated.

 

here ya go. mp3 rip from a hi-8 cam. rrm magnaflow 6-7 ft behind the exhaust. there's a rmr intake but i doubt it can be heard. this is with just the rrm axle back and intake only.

EDIT::::: IT's not rice at all.. and only has a sound really when idling or like.... FLOORING it -- nice low rumbling sound

hey well i got a magna flow exhaust system i didn't get it from rrm though i got it from magna flow it is nice, it is a deep sound nice not even close to a ricer i love the sound. i was worried about the sound to before i got mine i didn't want it all lot and high pitched. go magna flow i my opinion you woun't be dissatisfied. i am pretty sure rrm sells the same one i bought so just buy it from RRM to keep the business going... RRM is good no complaints yet.

I have a custom built axleback with magnaflow muffler. Deep, smooth sound which is not too loud but just loud enough for in the car. I told the muffler shop if it sounds like a pissed off bee I wanted them to take it off, refund my money, and put my stock back on... Well, it sounds awesome, couldn't be happier. Slight gain in upper RPM range, 3500+, enough to feel. Highly recommended product.

That is an autox video of my lancer with RRM SRI and magnaflow cat-back. There are a few shots where the camera mount is on the outside and you can hear it.

 

you guys wont really get that "rice" sound until you swap out the headers.

check youtube.com for sound clips.... they are everywhere! I have the Greddy2 and its sex!

 

the only thing that i had heard about it sound back is if you take out the first cat but i am not even talking about magna flow i am talking about exhaust in general. but you could be right to. haven't heard that yet..

 

i have a custom maganflow set up i wish i bought the one from RRM but mine is a nice growl and rumble noise but i have the RRM cai on my car so i wouldnt know if you have stock airbox i would change it out because if you open up the intake you have to open up the exhaust
