My buddy has an old 2g eclipse intake manifold layin around and i told him i was lookin to upgrade and he says it'll fit but im skeptical.

I was just wondering if anyone has done this.

i was mostly worried about sensors and vacuum lines not matching up.

help would be much apreciated.

i know its a different engine but the bolt pattern will line up perfectly

get a gasket for your car and see if the ports line up

 

I know for a fact that it will NOT fit. The 2G Eclipse has rectangular ports on both the intake and exhaust side and the Lancer has rounded ports.

 

install and see if he just has it lying around

 

You talking intake manifold or throttlebody? The fact that the IM sits the wrong way would suggest to me it wouldn't fit.
