High Performance Green Filter Drop In

I have this over a month now, it is an easy install. So far, I am getting additional 3MPG. Anybody else have this type of drop in?

I just bought one this week. I was a little concerned about the MAF sensor. Other than improved fuel economy have you had any issues with the filter?

BTW, last week I kinda experimented changing my driving habits, so when I filled up the tank this morning I got ~27mpg (247.3miles/9.183gal).

What did you change about your driving habits? My daily commute is about 22 miles, so i'm running 27-31mpg depending on my driving habits. I have hit 32 before but i've only seen that once b/c somebody was driving really slow in front of me and I could not pass. I have not estimated based on miles driven and gallons used though. I will check that next time I fill up. I've been driving in manual mode more and more so I am not seeing in the 30's any more.

I never used the guage to track my mpg. I always fill up weekly to get my mpg. I tried to stay between ~1.5K-2K rpm when driving. But sometimes due unavoidable circumstances I have to exceed the 2k rpm. I've been using the D mode. Maybe next week, I will try the Sport mode.

So it's been a couple of months now and my mpg's fell to 27-29 so i decided to clean the filter. I have put about 5k miles on the car so i thought this would be a good time. I bought the cleaning kit from Green so I cleaned it yesterday. it did not look dirty but i followed the steps and washed it in a white bucket. it was pretty dirty. Hardest part of the whole process was reapplying the oil after it dried. you don't want to much but you want to get good coverage. We will see this week how my mileage does.
