camshaft

is it possible to swap out a camshaft of a 2.4L lancer gts with a evo x camshaft?

Why would you want to??? I'm pretty sure the 2.4 camshaft is the only forged piece in the 4b12.

Remember that the EVO is tuned differently which makes the lift and duration values of the camshafts different. It is set up for a turbo'ed car and while it may FIT the regular 4B11 and 4B12 engines, the real question is will the car run properly. You might be better of waiting for someone else to release one or try getting in contact with a company you know makes good quality engine internals and try working with them to get a performance set for our engines made. It will lower your cost and you can get much closer to performance values that work with the kind of tune you want.

oo alright thanks for the info guys. i was just wondering cuz some guy claimed to have an evo x made camshaft and i was wondering how was it working on our N/A
