EVO Heat shield on a 4G94

EVO Heat shield on a 4G94

I have a 2004 LS Lancer w/header and was wondering if the heat sheilds that are out there for the Evo's will fit or can some how be modded to fit my car? Any help would be appriciated!

Im using the longer cat-delete OBX Header, of which i must be one of the lucky ones becuase i have not had a problem with it

I mean I guess you could make it work, but there isn't anywhere to bolt it onto your exhaust manifold.

i figured as much, but didn't know if anyone had bought one and checked it out. Im sure i would have no problem fab'n something up to look like it was ment to work though. But we'll see at tax time lol.

You would be better off fabbing up a heat shield that slides onto the exhaust manifold studs, covers the header and gets tightened down with the copper nuts.

That thing looks pretty boss. But you might have to weld a bracket on your header to hold that thing with a bolt or two.

You also have to remember that that shield is made for the log design that the stock evo manifold has.
