I've been doing a lil research about the 10.5 hotside.. I've read its about a 10-15 hp increase, and with an aftermarket O2 housing another 5-10 hp.. One guy claims he gained 25hp after switching to the 10.5 and a megan O2.. Confirm or Deny?? just curious is all ha

 

And thunder what did you do with your battery? would an evo battery tray be a good investment?

 

Ok was that guy in a factory turbo'd evo or aftermarket turbo'd lancer? Because there is a big difference.

Seriously bro, it doesn't seem like you've done ANY type of research. You have a lancer NOT an evo, do NOT confuse the two.

 

well i got one now.. so i'll guess we'll see how it applies to the lancer in a few months.. and by the way thunder.. it was a factory turbo evo

 

ok hay i have a 4g94 ls and i just wanted to no how what parts can i put in it to realy make it go but i dont wana put in a turbo so what ever parts u can think off please let me no

 

theres not many options if you dont wanna go turbo.. U can get headers, exhaust, crank pulley, intake mani, throttle body, piggy back, cold air intake, but all these together you wont get serious gains in HP, and if you did get all these parts, ur looking to spend about 1500 bucks and if your spending that much you might as well go turbo.. but here are some websites with good products:

so ive been digging around slightly if u have a 4g94 couldnt u put on a mivec head from a 4g92? but if heads are swapable could u go from a 4g6x and put it on a 4g9x?

 

You can't swap pieces from the 4g6x to the 4g9x

 

but i can swap any part from a 4g9x to another 4g9x right?

 

Almost any part. You need for one thing, the right engine orientation, and also a couple of the sensors are different between the series such as the cam angle sensor. You can search and find alot of the info you are asking for.
