not a noob and still need help

Hey guys, ill get to the point. 03 OZ, 125k miles... Automatic. Acquired the car recently off my bro. The bulb under the shifter went out. Now I can't see which gear its in. I took the center console off but can't figure out how to replace the bulb. Than I thought it might be a fuse...? Any help please. I searched got irrelevant info. Thanks!

you can't find the bulb? you need to look on the side of the shifter console after the entire center console is removed. you twist and pull my friend.

It'll be on the driver's side of the shift console. I think it's a little white socket with two wires coming out of it. On a side note, you should get know the gears btw. I haven't had a bulb in mine for over a year

Lol woooow I can't believe I didn't spot this the other day lol thanks thou for the help! Btw the car hasn't had that bulb in close to two years. I just got the car from my bro about 2 months. He of course never took care of the car so I've been left w the burden of fixing her up lol. So far I've gone through a laundry list of things on her. Next up rear wheel bearings to remove the horrendous roaring sound and new pulley to eliminate the squealing lol

My clock and odometer dim out too, I just never let it bother me I guess There is a diagram behind that little storage cubby near the driver's left knee, and also one under the hood where that fuse box is located.
