If its anything like the ralliart ebay intake the piping will be too large and you will throw a cel. On the ralliart the piping the MAF is attached to is 2.5 while the ebay intake are all 3 inch piping.

when i say pioneer, i actually mean can people please not post these low quality products with no real manufacturer or company to back them for our cars and ask if we recommend buying it. I feel as though every single "ebay" knockoff part has been shut down on the forums.

 

although it is ebay its worth a try odds are its a direct copy of RRM or k&n thats what they do just take a already made intake and replicate it.

 

its a pipe... worst that'll happen is that it doesnt fit right.. or the filter sucks

 

^not just a pipe. A lot goes into making a good intake, location of MAF, bends, kinks and crimps if needed for A/F ratio. And i thought we learned earlier that SRI's are equal if not worse than the stock intake on our car due to how close it is to he exhaust manifold sucking in hot air. I customized my SRI so it acts more like a CAI sucking air from under where my battery used to be.

there is a thread and a place to discuss the fujita sri. But as from reading my posts you should no i will no longer be backing the fujita sri due to my custom trubo kit which is still in progress although halted due to the fact i now have my gsr to work on.

 

I think you are mistaken, im referring to the Fujita V1 that everone was quick to get because it was cheap and they all got CEL's. I didn't even notice you had one on your car, and im pretty sure yours is the V2. What im saying is if your run to a product just for the price, don't expect it to work like a brand name product. Not directed at you kmc im actually backing you up.

 

^lol sorry misunderstood thought this thread was going to turn into another fujita debate, and yes this is true the fujita V1 was a cheap very clean product at first, but threw about 90% of the people who baught its CEL. Fujita did fix this problem however and do offer a warranty on their products. I do also find it funny the ebay listing says JDM, looks like someone put this together in their backyard and painted it a nice blue. Im going to have to say, 99% chance you will throw a CEL with the ebay intake.

 

well if it does throw a CEL, im sure a tune could fix it! lol

 

lol idk how much a tune costs for you but im sure in the end it will end up costing more in the end.
