lol i didnt turn up the boost when I was racing....see, you DONT know the whole story! I turned it up on the dyno while being tuned FOR the higher boost...

I know what happened.....it wasnt the tune. what happened was real ****ty though. while being tuned on the dyno, his timing chain broke, and well.....you can guess where that leads to....

also, apparently he has a LOT of money, because he said himself after it blew that he was buying an Evo X AMS sleeved race block and building that and swapping it into his car, and also buying a new Lancer engine, and building that on the side as another engine......however idk if he actually followed through with that....

 

Alot was said, but now he's just selling the car "supposedly" for an EvoX He spent all that money on RA parts for his custom-turbo, and then it blows and he says he's getting the re-inforced block, AND modding the stocker as well (which I thought was complete BS) And now he's selling the lancer for an EvoX. Pretty much i'll believe it when I see it, because he did ALOT of talking to avoid the "I told you so" comments.

I think it was 7, but don't quote me on that one. And Where the fack you've been slyy, still going ahead with the boost? Or are you detoured now?

 

just read through the whole thread, for some reason some things just dont add up to me. it was hard enough for me to believe it was a boosted CVT at first, but then some other things just made it seem fishy. and then all a sudden tossing it all away and getting a new car? i dunno.

That's what I was saying, but he has posted pics and a dark-*** video of the car driving at night. But there are other boosted CVT's, but none of them seem interested in posting their experiences. The only one I know of that is still running strong is a dark blue one overseas, and he has a full EvoX kit on his so you may have seen it and just though it was an X

Because no one cares about the ebay intake.

 

yeah i dunno, how u go from getting a student loan to throwing 10gs in your car throwing it away and putting another 10gs down on a evo? i call bs on that and finding a new 2.4L lancer motor with less than 1000 miles on it for 800 bucks. at that point i was starting to think the kid was full of it. people asked for vids over and over and it couldnt come up with one right away. i dunno maybe he does have one, or maybe hes faking it. hard to tell
