comon amby is the lancer series not a boat? Pretty sure there 3-3500lbs depending on model.. no honda civic hatch back by any means.

I'd agree a bolt on turbo kit would make it more peppy but I wouldn't say your feeling any serious power behind it..

I refer directly to RRM, they sell a full kit.
Directly from the FAQ under the premade kit section

For some this might not be a big deal but for most of us it means the difference between boosting in a few weeks versus a few months. For the 2002-2003 lancer, RRM used a up-pipe, down-pipe system. They also used a fuel management unit to increase the fuel pressure thus allowing the motor to have the necessary fuel. For the 2004-2006 lancer, they made a turbo manifold. They also began using a 5th injector because of the returnless fuel system. This injector is controlled by their piggyback ECU. You have three options as far as the turbo goes, a T-25, T-28 and a 16G. Which one is right for you depends on your budget and what you want out of the car. The T-25 is the smallest turbo and thus the cheapest. It also has the fastest spool time but it will max out quicker. The T-28 and 16G are about equal in terms of spool time and potential.

Rrm is about the only ones that sell a complete kit.

Your other options are to piece together a kit. There are plenty of threads in the lancer foced induction section that will explain what is needed, what can be used, etc.

ok so by rrm you must mean road race motorsports? because that is the only place i found selling turbos stuff for the lancer.

Also i found the stock replacement engine, rebuilt for 1099.99 from another shop...So...here is the deal.

I am going to buy the rebuilt for 1099.99 and then take the existing motor out and do a slow rebuild on it. I will make it ready for the turbo and try for as much power as possible. I wish I could remember the old horsepower to weight ratio equations...would be nice to see how fast, estimated, it will go for weight to hp...

What kind of weight savings did you do because that's 400 lbs below curb weight meaning you'd need roughly 600 lbs of weight savings.

That means that the weight scale that was used is VERY incorrect, because his setup literally has his rims as the lightest portion of his car. Even though he is a small dude I would imagine he weighs no less than 140 lbs. So...that scale needs to be fixed.

Was not incorrect other cars were weighted at the same time and were what they should be including an evo x and 08 Lancer .

I am also 6" at 170 lbs .

I asked before what weight saving modifications you've done. Given that you're not a light person, you'd need to have stripped close to 600 lbs from the car, which I find highly unlikely.

Wow the engine in my Lancer that was making the noise was not a rod...Which was puzzling, something got into the #2 cylinder and melted to the piston and mashed the spark plug closed. It also melted the head around the edges of where the piston comes up.... :| Was disheartening to see that...but I will be putting in the new engine in the first week of May. I will put a header on it...(not street legal, I'm hoping some one will pass my inspection for me...) and a cold air intake. Then the plan is a slow rebuild of the original engine to make it turbo ready. I want to have 200 hp at the wheels, minimum. I'm guessing with just the headers and cold air intake I will make an extra 15-30 hp which since the car only has about 106hp and 110 torque to the wheels stock I should have about 121-136hp and maybe 130-140 torque to the wheels...Might add some pep to its step.
