My installer is telling me that because if my c. Ratio the 4b12 will have a better low end or more tq if u want to call it like that its just harder to tune than a 9:1 or a 10:1 cr ratio (4b11 and 4b11t). But idk for real theres only one 4b12 with turbo that im aware of and it has the rrm kit so my set up is diff ill have an ra kit lets see what happena were are setting the bar a lil higher than rrm
hey was wondering if i can do a swap with either a 4bg63 engine or a rb25 engine what you think?
im not a mechanic bro , u r talking t the wrong guy lol , u can go the jdm engines and buy a whole evo 8 engine with turbo and tranny for like 3k idk how much of a pain it will create for u , ur car might need to stay on bricks for a while . everything can be achieved with time and money heer in nj there a bubble with camaro engine on it rwd , some crazy **** lol anyways if u have an 08 tricked out lancer ill say go turbo and so some engine work, u can get a stroker kit for like 3k from crower . i had to do the swap because i went tru a flood with my 4b11

auto to manual swap
ya I know it would be but at the time I didn't know that manual could hold turbo better then automatic or cvt and were I live its very difficult to find 2008 car for the price I got it for and its hard to find manuals here in miami so I wasn't trying to be to picky seeing this is my first car and all. so if anything ill just try and see if A really good performance shop can do A auto to manual swap on my car then build my engine up and then add turbo and all the works from rrm. But if all the shops here in miami say its impossible or to much work ill just pay my payments for 6 months then trade it in for A manual ralliart idk lets see.

bullet proof build A cvt tranny
Ever driven a RA or Evo X MR? The SST is a sick tranny that shifts so fast it doesn't even give your BOV time to release. Plus its a manual tranny that's driven automatic. There is nothing crap about it. Drive it in manual/sport mode and you won't have to worry about clutch wear-and-tear. Driving in auto/sport mode is just too much power for daily driving lol

replacing the cvt on these cars will cause headaches. Everything in the engine ECU and other ECU's are all programmed to talk to each other. You take the trans ecu out and the engine won't know what to do, the dash wont function properly. Unless you can get mitsu to program it somehow, to work with this other trans, then I doubt you will be able to do what you want. Get a manual with a heavy clutch. Then mitsu can program the engine and dash for a manual trans swap for sure.
