hmmm....well I would just replace the first cat anyways haha unless the muffler shop was mistaken. if you go to RRMs website and click on their headers for sale, they tell you how to find on your car if its FED or PZEV by looking at some number or something lol, try that

lol if you have 2 cats, the first one is removable, you can replace it with the custom cutout and thats it!

lol np man. just for clarification, if you have a PZEV with the extra cat, that little mid pipe will look like part number 2 shown in the picture. (towards bottom left) it goes between the header and pipe with the big cat on it.

np man! remember to post up vids/pics when you do it! lol and make sure they run a short pipe from the cutout exit behind the butterfly to down next to the downpipe, so you dont get your engine bay covered in exhaust gasses and you dont melt anything lol

 

Yeah im very curious to see if u actually gain anything from this beside sounding like ur fast, lol keep us updated, i might have to get mine done too in a couple of weeks, i like the idea that if u see a cop down the road its only a switch away from not getting pulled over,

 

If you are PZEV, Tsudo has a nice 2nd cat delete exhaust that is very fairly priced. Check it out.

 

if he gets the e-cutout, it would be replacing the 2nd cat anyways

 

awesome man! Ya I will for sure post everything i get put on. I dont know when I will be able to since I have no money but hopefully once I get taxes back I can get it. I will let you guys know how it goes. I hope it will sound good and not raspy. hopefully it will sound good with my intake too.
