Why has no one come out with aftermarket projectors for the 2008+ Lancer? These would sell like crazy if they were priced right. There seem to be a good selection for the prior years but not the new 2008+ style. What gives?

The Evo X and Ralliart projector HID headlights fit the lancers. Cant tell you how much they are, probably more than aftermarket... but they'd probably work better and end up being more reliable.

 

I have several HID kits so I just need the Projector housings. Mitsu charges WAY to much for the OEM ones. Out of all the aftermarket parts for this car you would think someone would have produced one. Oh well looks like I'll have to check out some junk yards and hope for the best.

 

Lancers 2009 and up have plug n play feature for the headlight assy, however with the 2008 model the wiring is different. So people like me dont really got a OEM option like you guys wit 09s and up.

I think OEMs are 1k or round about that....

 

actually most 2008s have the proper wiring its just some unlucky people who dont have the correct wiring

 

If you are talking about ebayish projectors, you would have better luck throwing your money away because those typically have terrible light pattern, poor fitment and are sometimes hard to adjust. If you want hids done correctly get a retrofit or buy oem evolamps if they fit.

 

Thanks all, I would love to get the Evo projectors but cant bring myself to spend 1K on them. I eventually want to get a MR Touring so I'll add the money to that bucket instead.
