Is there one made to fit the 4B12? Or will the model for the 08 4B11 work? I really dig the tone from the HKS and would love to get ahold of one

 

dont waste your money on the one made specificaly for the lancer, get a custom setup and go with the HKS universal muffler, it'll sound a lot better.

 

Ive looked it up on youtube and i really really like the sound. Reminds me a little of classic muscel mixed with f1. It growls and roars instead of buzzing like the greddy or magnaflo

 

Indeed, I think for now custom is the way to go... I had looked around for cat-backs and they were all really for the 2.0L...

I bought an axel-back (Tsudo N1 - admittedly, this on the low end of things) that supposedly worked for both the 2.0 and 2.4 and had issues (had to go to a muffler shop to adjust the fit - wrote up a thread on it - Tsudo N1 install on my 2009 Lancer GTS).

 

So im gonna go custom with a universal muffler....but which one? I cant get one definitive size. Anybody know what mm measurement i should go by? I found 170mm shell, 97mm tip, and 60mm intake pipe...can you sense my confusion? lol
