No not any easy fix unless you have a mandrel bender, when you get it on your car you will see why it is not easy. I imagine you could flatten the spot it hits or wrap it a little but still a major pain, it hits enough to most likely wear out and need to be constatly fooled with. I took a picture a while back and put it in a thread to show everone the clearance issue with the DP just search Im too lazy. Only bangs on startup reverse and hard turns gee that isnt much and I have solid engine mounts which severely limits the drivetrain from moving which is the cause of the banging, Id hate to hear it with stock.

Installed header and downpipe

I got the header and down pipe on this weekend, along with a new muffler and custom catback. I hear no rubbing clanging or anything everything fit GREAT. It took about and hour and a half. As for the initial thread question, i would say no the header would not fit the stock Down, since the kamikaze header /downpipe combo fit together with 3 nuts and bolts, the stock only has 2. for about 5hrs I only had the header and an intake on and i still saw great improvement and even better sound, but would highly recomend that if you add the kamikaze/RPW/RRM header just spend the extra $150-250 and get a complete header back exhaust put on. I def felt an even better difference between having header w/ stock exhaust and having header with custom. any more questions PM me rock on deffintly worth the money for the this upgrade.
