Hi all!
I'm kindof new to the forums, had a login forever but haven't logged in for a while. I just took my lancer in for the recall concerning the check engine light, and got it back today. The dealer told me last week that someone had taken out the 02 sensor and cross-threadded it putting it back in. And since they had to replace the catalytic converter then they didn't want to put the cross-threadded one back in. I bought a universal one from napa for $50 instead of $350 that they wanted for the stock on from the dealer. And the dealer tech didn't wire in the o2 sensor because he said the color scheme is different. But I got the car back and the wire colors are different. Anyone have a wire diagram that shows the color schematic so I can wire in the new sensor? Thanks!

yes, but the wires on the car are red w/ yellow stripe, blue w/ black stripe then black and white I think (going off memory) and the mitsubishi section of the paperwork says the wire colors should be blue, black or yellow for signal, white, black and black. So I need a wire diagram for the car to see what is what. A factory service manual preferably.

 

I no this is older. But was wondering if you ever figured this out? I have the same problem. Coming from the car is red with yellow. Blue with red. White and Black Coming from the o2 is blue white and two black. Thanks.

 

I did get it wired in, but it's been so long that I don't even remember how I found the wire colors. I sold that car maybe two years ago.

I had the same problem but just googled the wire colours. It's not that hard to find.
