ok so my friend says that he can put this engine in a lancer, he says because they look the same.....i know that ppl are going to say that you can put anything for the right price.

It should bolt in. That's the G4JS engine. It's the Hyundai equivalent of the Mitsu 4G64, but it's a DOHC 2.4L. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has swapped one in. People just take the head and bolt it onto the 4G64 to make it DOHC.

yup the head design is close to the evo 8 head design on that engine , and can be used on a 4g64 block as well , chances are you would have to do similar to the 4g64 swap to make it work ...

 

very interesting, i would like 2 see someone do it. (i know nothing of this engine, is it a "tuner friendly" engine?)
