Mexico 4g63!

In Mexico, the Lancer was available in DE, ES, LS and GS trims with a 2.0 L DOHC 4G63 engine. There were no estate versions: only the four-door saloon.

Anyone heard about this? Anyone have pictures or other info? This would be a great swap.

Wouldn't it be cool if it were basically the same engine....just with different motor mounts and trans or something like that, so you could just jack those few parts, and not need to ship an entire mexican engine.

I've never heard anything about this before.
It'll be nice if some one knows.

I know for a fact there is a european model that has a 4g63 non turbo fwd from the factory let me do some digging and see if I can get some pictures. How bought you get a hyundai sonata or a kia optima they come with a variant or the 4g64 so in theory you can bolt a 4g63t to its fwd transmission , or you can turbo the 2.4 thats in there...
