Use other products as a basis for comparison. Cold air intakes (CAI, CIA is the Culinary Institute of America or Central Intelligence Agency ) fetch in the neighborhood of 300~ dollars (MSRP that is) while short rams go for less, around 200~. More than likely they'll put out a polished, red andonized and blue andonized finish for both. AEM appears to be dyno testing more of their newer stuff and the gains are pretty good for pretty much any application.
