Feel free to delete, the problem wasn't that serious after all. I had a bad MAF sensor which destroyed 2 sets of spark plugs, Replaced the sensor and the spark plugs (Again!!) and the car runs better than it has ever ran before. Never knew a lancer could run this smooth.
