I am looking for a used ECU for my 4B11 Lancer GT, the ECU simply is not recovering is not availabel at the service center. I am ready for immediate purchase.

 

does anyone has any idea how to recover the ECU, our dealer service center said its completely wasted

 

What happened to it, or did it just fail? If the Engine ECU is no good, then you have to get a new one! Try looking in wreckers for one and see if mitsu can reprogram it for you.

 

we were writting a reflashed file to the ECU and it stalked half way, an error message displayed and we couldnt recover the ECU, although fans work when ignition is on.

 

Auto or manual ?

lmfao your ecu is not wasted. Its stuck in program mode. Seriously i have done this i dont 5-6 times trying to flash a ra map. Easy solution and takes a whole 20 mines of your time.

wanted to mention before you try to do this try the easiest thing first. With your key in ignition turn it towards the start position without your foot on the clutch. This should stop the fans from running you may be able to flash it at this point. try to flash the ecu if this doesnt work then you need to use the bench monthod. You may have an issue from here forward with the fans running when the ignition is on. Not a big deal however you can flash when the fans are on so again without starting the car turn the key as to start it. No clutch just turn the key. if its a auto put it in drive and turn the key should stop the fans from running!!!!!!!!!!
