So it looks like the ECU reset helped as well as installing the new BKR5EIX-11's which were not V-Powered but Iridium instead. With a fully reset ECU and after 2 tankfuls, I must say that my mileage is now phenomenal!! It has gone up significantly to a point where I notice and don't have to try as hard to achieve.

With 10.500 gallons of fuel in the tank from full to the low fuel light, I would go anywhere from 300 to 335 or so, equating to roughly 28 (winter mileage) to about 32. After 2 tankfuls, I managed to travel 385 miles before the Low Fuel annunciator felt the need to illuminate. That's about the rate of 36.5. That's astonishing!

I don't know if it's fully learned, but I'm happy either way because this will definitely help on road trips. As far as driving habits go, this has been with freeway driving on cruise control at 75 MPH (3250 RPM) with my car that now has 186,200 miles on it. I think this is going fabulous!

First: Let me put my flame suit on!
Now that I got the suit on, I can say -> No

But since you disconnect the battery everytime you work on your car, then you will reset the ECU even if you don't intend to do so.
