Which O2 did you put the cel eliminator on?

Put one on each O2 sensor and that should take care of it.

Yes, for sure need to reset the cel to begin with.
I assume you've already done this but if not unhook the battery for 30 min and then hook it back up.
Start your car and let it idle for 20 min... drive around town and on interstate.
Will run rough at first.

Also it is true that putting a eliminator on the 2nd cat (under car) most of the time fixes this issue.
I just put one on each though and mine is fine.

I still have both my 02's and my wideband with a 3" straight pipe no cats. I have two sparkplug antifoulers on my 2nd 02 and the first is just threaded in like normal. I have never had a cel for the cat and its been a year and a half.

I recommend ONLY putting the eliminator on the 2nd 02 sensor, here is why.

You are getting the code because the 2nd 02 sensor is getting the same amount of exhaust "pollution" as the first one. The only reason we have the 2nd 02 is to monitor that the cat is doing its job by cleaning up alot of that pollution and sending cleaner exhaust past the 2nd 02 and on out the tail pipe. By putting the cel climinator on the second 02 sensor only this pulls the sensor out of the direct stream exhaust thus exposing it to less "pollution" and tricking the ecu into thinking the cat is working great since its getting the cleaner feedback from that 2nd 02. Having the eliminator on the 1st one just pulls it out of the direct stream too so if you take that off the first one it will go back down into the direct exhaust flow which will make it less likely for your cel to come back on.
