Oil pump

How do you prime a new oil pump? Do you have to open the pump up and coat with petroleum mate? thanks

theres a couple ways,,,put a 1/2 in. drive socket wrench in the crank and rotate the engine or unplug the coils and turn the engine over a few times that way the engine dont fire.

alright probaby use the wrench since the engines on a stand.

oh if its on a stand then put a drill on it turn it faster.
