do i have to keep the splash guards when i install? the aem cai? or so they just stay off?

 

I swear this question was asked a few weeks ago, but I ran 5 searches and couldn't find it. But here's one from a year ago. You can remove them if you don't mind a dirtier filter, but I recommend having them on but removing the side grill insert to get more fresh air.
